About James Oldham:

DC MChiro LRCC

James graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in 2018. Following graduation and whilst practicing as an associate chiropractor, James completed a research internship in partnership with the Chiropractic Research Council and Arthritis UK. James enjoys supporting all members of the community with a special clinical interest in general diagnosis.

More recently he has been involved in supporting the next generation of chiropractors, working part-time as a Lecturer of Chiropractic at London South Bank University, having previously undertaken a role as a clinic supervisor at the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic (WIOC). He has worked as an associate chiropractor since graduating, working in clinics in both Derby and Northampton and decided in 2023 that the time was right to begin running his own clinic so he set up Chiropractic Healthcare Derby to fulfil that ambition.   Aside from chiropractic, James is a football referee - you may see him running around a football pitch. By combining football and his degree, James is also currently involved in teaching Emergency Medical First Aid in Football to grassroots and professional coaches for the Football Association.

James unwinds from work by spending time walking his bulldog Reginald. He also has a private pilot’s license.

James is registered with the General Chiropractic Council, a member of the British Chiropractic Association and a Licentiate member of the Royal College of Chiropractors. James has recently trained as trainer for the Royal College of Chiropractors Post-Registration (PRT) programme, with the aim of supporting new chiropractic graduates into the profession.
